The roaring 20's are coming!

 


My #project is called the 'Old Mill' on #Knight's Crest.
Looney #Mill is right below. So, this looks over #Old #Looney #Mill on a stone escarpment on #Altadena #ridge.
It's overlooking a beautiful little #valley on the #south side of the city of #Birmingham.

This #escarpment looks over the #Cahaba #River #Valley all the way to #Double #Oak #Mountain.


It's a very pretty #vista, fairly uncrowded; the majority of area #residents have moved out to #Inverness and beyond. The close in to Birmingham location of the Cahaba #Heights area has become a rare amenity which has been annexed by the adjacent cities of #Mountain #Brook, #Vestavia, #Hoover: all good considering the #schools and amenities they provide.

Cahaba Heights #community #location was the last #civilization as you drove over the #hill 40 years ago until you hit #Chelsea. Now Cahaba Heights is an #enclave of very #nice #boutique #shops, #restaurants and #easy to #navigate streets, and one of the #closest communities to #downtown #Birmingham.
